We love good news, and we´ve got some for a change.
Zidane is now looking better than ever, it´s overflowing with new PS2 games and NDS games.

We´ve got a massive DS set of scene releases now, and we´ll try to keep them coming, fortunately the DS scene has slowed down some.
Our PS2 set is getting much bigger too, and it should be plenty fast for a number of connections (there is a 500KiB/s speed limit though, to help keep people from hogging bandwidth)

Note that occasionally you´re going to stumble onto bad releases or corrupt releases, it does happen. We do what we can when we find them. Bear in mind corrupt releases will not be changed if that is how the release arrived on the scene.

If you´re hoping NitroRoms continues to get better, you might considering purchasing additional quota, it helps us while helping you at the same time. We appreciate your business.

For the first time in several days, Zidane is starting to come back online.
There was significant damage to the filesystem due to a hard disk crash on the array.
A very large amount of data was lost, nearly 3 TiB, which we are currently in the process of getting back.

As a FYI, some of the newer NDS games are back online, and hosted on Zidane, so the speed for those files should be excellent.

Unfortunately, Zidane is still offline. It has been offline for 2 days while we do badblock checks. (the filesystem is massive, so it takes a while)

We have confirmed that there is significant damage to the filesystem. We believe one of the hard disks failed and thus we´re expecting a number of files to be lost. But we´ll get them back as soon as we can.

If you previously had a NitroRoms account with extra quota or funds attached, you will note that your account is not currently accessible.

In order to get your account back online, please register a new account, then send an email to damin@emuxperts.net with both the New Username, and the Old Username. We will get your account back online as quickly as possible.

This is a new completely modular, scalable CMS system we´ve written.

Quota Display (solves the "i have enough quota, but it says i don´t" problem)
Search Ordered by Relevance (makes it easier to find the game your looking for)
Servers Synchronized in Real-Time
Sort by Date (eg. DS roms aren´t numbered anymore, they are sorted by time of arrival)
ROM changes now apply (whenever a file on our systems changes, the changes are made to our database as well)
ROM additions are faster (before it took a while to recognize a new file, now they are recognized in less than a minute)
Newest Searches (if you´re interested in what others are looking for...)
Popular Searches (makes it easy to find those in-demand games)
